#mommytales aaaahhhhhhhh...finally home, sitting back and sipping on my monthly starbucks splurge (yes, i said monthly....i only treat myself to it one time a month)....a delicious hazelnut macchiato...it is going down quite smooth after this craziness of the morning. Woke up a bit late.....cleaning kitchen up, getting Asher dressed, breastfeeding Taygen and getting him dressed, me showered (thank goodness the boys had a bath the night before!) to get to Taygens dr appt ....I was already dreading it bc it was SHOT day. Asher is dragging his remote control tractor out the door with him as we all start piling in the car...He is being a good boy and im silently praying please let this continue in the dr office at the office: Oh, Mrs. Obrien...Taygens appt is tomorrow and we cant fit him in today. Me: oh. im laughing at this point bc 1. obviously mommy brain has still decided to take me hostage and 2. i just wasted a Asher has been being so good experience on NOT seeing the dr. And we cant come back tomorrow so we reschedule. errands have to be done....might as well, we are all out and about now. Go to office depot and get a copy of my drivers license made (have to get Taygens birth certificate STILL)....that will be 11 cents maam....look in my bag for change bc I always have change. NOPE, not today...and then the angel lil old lady gave me 11 cents so I wouldnt have to use my debit card for such a tiny purchase....I thanked her and promised to pay it forward this week in her honor. Asher starts up a conversation with an older lady of 9 yrs old...and has decided she is his girlfriend and proceeds to tell her he is Austin Moon (Disney) and gives her a break dance show in the middle of Office Depot....my heart is just swelling bc he is just so dang on cute....until he doesnt want to walk out of the doors with mommy to go to the car. They are automatic doors and I walk through and he stays...well, they shut and he loses his mind for a brief second. Needless to say, he was quite eager to walk with mommy after that. more errands....all done before Taygens next feeding....make it home. Feed him. and kick back with a delicious coffee. thank goodness for starbucks sometimes.
