my apologies to anyone I invited to the bike night at Ripper Owens tonight. To consider it piss poor would be insulting to the term piss poor. When I went to the bar and ordered a coke with a lemon slice I was told by the barmaid she couldnt serve me a coke. She could serve me an energy drink or sell me a Ripper Owens t-shirt. Suprisingly enough, I found that odd. So I asked for an ice water. I was given the same responce. She said it was because they werent "open". With what seemed to be about a dozen employees milling around, a band playing on stage, the front door unlocked and open. the large sign out by the road saying "OPEN", I felt as if I had pressed 2 for Spanish. The bike count was mediocre. The bike quality was average at best. A couple of TV choppers and the rest made up of street bikes. And a larger than normal ammount of bikes displaying the UFO lights. My suggestion to those who planned this event, have a backup plan for employment
