my best buddies just loved the lord. together we formed a team sweet, meek little wilma came to us and told us her husband was a cantankerous and mean old devil. our team was invited into wilmas home. with the mean guy in the other room we formed a circle and began to pray until the holy spirit took over. each member of the team was making a modest contribution. i had prepared a fiery speech because some people just wanna keep their devils, and i wasnt very subtle back then. one of my brothers gave a prophetic utterance and another began speak in a heavenly language. wilma prayed. we all worshiped jesus. my turn came as an unction to speak caught me by surprise. i began to sing, wherewithal shall a young man cleanse his way. . . just one chorus. should i give my speech now, god? no, he said. youre done. the very next day sweet wilma came RUNNING IN to say that her husband repented and was filled with the holy spirit. healing, suffering, powerful street preachers needed.
