my brother and i went down to cameron parish,louisiana at the coastal club to fish. we didnt catch any cat fish my brother was murdering all the bass. he caught maybe 7 of them in 2 days bigest was 3 ponds at the most. i went to a little canal behind the club building and threw a neon green and yellow beetle spin and hooked a 9 pound grenal but when i reeled it in my line popped. then me, my brother, and his friend decided to throw a sinker and a treble hook a little bit in front of some gar and then when it was the perfect chance, we yanked the line and tried to hook the gar. no luck except when my friend hook a little gar. then we went made crews of 3 and went on boats and caught bream for a fish fry we were going to have for dinner my [ taylor ] crew caught about 50 bream on the first shift. the we went out again and caught like 30. also for the hell of it we decided to mess ith the alligators. i [ taylor ] thought of an idea to tie our line to a little 8 ouz. powrerade bottle. and then cast out and hit the gator. it was so fun and a awesome experience.
