my thought of the day is that if everyone donated jus two hours of their time a week (which is prob the average time ppl spend on social media accumulated) investing their time into the community I.e working with elderly, running youth projects, picking up rubbish, we would all begin to trust each other more and value our community more, making it safer and more pleasant. what worries me is that we seem to be creating a world where everyone lives in their own bubble rushing to get to the top, earn the most. its an era of keeping up with the joness over collaboration and working together. Whilst voluntary work seems crazy cos the finacial gain isnt there ur actually investing in ur wider community which will benefit you and ur family for years to come.
