n recent months I have been working with a steering group, formed by the Mill Hill Residents Association (MHRA), to create a community hub.We are mid discussions with Barnet Council to obtain the former Civil Defence Building, Daws Lane, which the MHRA has registered as a building of community interest. (Next to the Car Park). Whilst our team have many ideas, it is you , the community, who are at the centre of the project and your views will form the basis on which we present our case to Barnet. I once again ask for your help, We are carrying out a comprehensive consultation and have created an online questionnaire alongside a paper version which can be accessed via the MHRA website. millhillresidents.org.uk We will be delivering the paper version to every home in the immediate area. I hope that many of you will take the time to complete the questionnaire and welcome feedback from service providers. Finally, may I take this opportunity to introduce Chris Wong who is the Project Manager. Chris has lived in Mill Hill for over 20 years and is very involved with community initiatives and development projects.
