It has been reported that Love Plus+ will make use of Nintendo’s DS Stations - a Japan-wide network of wifi hotspots that grant Internet access and perform other services. Upon visiting a DS Station, Love Plus+ players will receive a “locality capsule”, which unlocks a character in their game. Each DS Station will only provide certain characters, meaning that players will have to travel to all 47 prefectures of Japan to catch em all - and some characters are apparently only encountered by very low chance.
