#ncwx #scwx - A squall-line of severe thunderstorms marches through eastern Tennessee, central and eastern Georgia, western and central North Carolina, South Carolina and northern Florida today. Damaging wind gusts and isolated tornadoes are the main severe threats. Very heavy rainfall with the thunderstorms produces the threat of flash and urban flooding. Tonight the line of severe thunderstorms impacts North Carolina, South Carolina and southeast Georgia. A line of severe thunderstorms may develop in the upper Ohio Valley and eastern Kentucky producing damaging wind gusts later this morning through this afternoon. Heavy downpours with the thunderstorm line could cause flash and urban flooding.A line of severe thunderstorms moves into southern West Virginia and southwestern Virginia during the later afternoon hours. Damaging wind gusts and isolated brief tornadoes are possible in the line. Widely scattered showers and thunderstorms are also possible from northeast West Virginia and northwest Virginia to northern Pennsylvania. Other showers and thundershowers occur behind the main thunderstorm line from Iowa and Missouri to Michigan and Indiana.A storm in the eastern Pacific Ocean produces rain and showers from northwest California through western and northern Washington during the day Tuesday. Tuesday night the showers shift into southeast Washington, eastern Oregon and northeastern California.
