ndo-Pak talks resumption creates ruckus in legislation Srinagar: Kashmir legislative council on Wednesday witnessed pandemonium over the tabling of a resolution seeking resumption of Indo-Pak talks. The members of the opposition Peoples Democratic Party stood on their seats created ruckus. After Devender Rana of the ruling National Conference (NC), who intended to table the resolution, was allowed by the chairman to speak on the resolution. The opposition members were asserting that sufficient time had not been given to them to study the resolution. “Dialogue is needed so that tension along the border between the two countries is eased, the resolution reads. The move however was also opposed by NC leader Shahnaz Ganai, who said Devender Rana had been allowed to table the resolution while her calling attention motion on connected issues had been ignored. Rana aggrieved with the objection of opposition leaders especially MLC Naeem Akhtar, later left the room amid ruckus. While talking to the reporters outside the house, he said that he had left the house because he cannot accept that politics should be played over such sensitive issues. I am really feeling bad over people doing politics over such a sensitive and humanitarian issue. People are dying and there are people who are trying to do politics over the issue, Rana said
