networkEngineer:Job Ref: AOU-IT/10 Responsibilities: Manages, configures and troubleshoots network devices like routers, firewalls, switches, WLAN and applies security standards to protect organization from external threats and spams. Monitors, controls, evaluates network performance and performs scheduled maintenance to ensure high availability and healthy network condition. Manages the network admission control and its integration with the corporate active directory. Conducts regular penetration tests to ensure adequacy of security controls. Manages day-to-day activities related to CISCO IP telephony equipment and tools including but not limited to: CCUM, multimedia gateway, voice mail systems, analogue gateway, contact centers, video conference systems, etc. Manages and monitors VPN connections to remote branches and maintains the communication between local and remote call managers. Administers the organization network operating systems with relevant concepts of active directory, DNS, DHCP, etc. Manages and monitors the corporate web filter and bandwidth shaping devices. Maintains network diagrams andtechnical documentation up to date. Coordinate network activities with network administrators in other branches. Ensures network, security and VOIP devices are appropriately patched. Provides technical guidance and training to other team members and technical staff. Job Requirements: University degree or higher in Computer or communication Engineering or Information Technology OR equivalent technical training. A minimum of 7 years of solid background in designing, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting LANs/WANs infrastructure in addition todeep knowledge in network protocols, systems and tools. Extensive experience with Junos in configuration and troubleshooting and the Juniper platforms (particularly EX8200 and 4200 and EX4300 series). Juniper Certifications (Minimum JNCIS-SP and preferably JNCIP-SP or JNCIE-SP, JNCIS-SEC and preferably JNCIP-SEC or JNCIE-SEC, CCNA or preferably CCVP (Cisco Certified Voice Professional). Good knowledge in firewalls especially (Juniper ISG and SSG series). Strong background in network security technologies (IDS, IPS, IDP, IPsec, SSL VPN, and NAC) Detailed understanding of LACP, VRRP, NAT/PAT, Load-Balancing and spanning-tree. Good understanding of concepts of DNS, DHCP, SIP, HTTP, HTTP Ability to apply knowledge to real world scenarios. Self-motivated, enthusiastic and hard-working team player.
