Our friend of many years, Riff West has passed away. Among many other things, Riff played bass for Molly Hatchet and Foghat and was a great friend of and protector to all animals large and small. I feel really bad because we had not seen Riff in a couple of years and had no idea that he was so ill from the result of car accident. That was typical of Riff, he never complained about anything and was always positive. Riff was one of those special people that when you saw him you always felt great about him being there. He always generated confidence and optimism. A talented and well loved musician and friend to so many. Our condolences to Riffs family. Gonna miss you buddy. With respect, PT
