#neverforget. Watching some of the footage from this day 13 years ago, it is still so vivid. and it is still so unbelievable. That is one moment in my life I will never forget where I was and what I was doing. I was teaching and since a lot of UPENN students were from NY, there was a quite a panic on campus. No one could get through to their parents or loved ones. I overheard a girl in utter tears sitting on a bench surrounding by friends, all on cell phones, saying her dad works in the WTC. Barely getting the words out. She looked like she was about to pass out. I just remember she had reddish blonde curly hair. I remember feeling being in a fog Not grasping the reality of the situation until I proceeded to vomit outside my car trying to get home. I think it was when I heard about all the firemen who perished. My heart goes out to the families who loved ones that day and for those who were first responders who are dying or already died from all They inhaled at the site. #neverforget911. #proudtobeanamerican.
