next, Id like to talk about why I left the #FilmSchool at #UCLA and an issue that has been following me my entire life...and this is, once again, the issue of #Jealousy, whether implicit or explicit I left the film school after 2 quarters once I realized that I had learned all I could learn there, but, more so, because I felt really unappreciated. To illustrate this, I have posted a video that was part a class where we all had to create a scene called the 185 project. After the projects were completed, they were shown on the jumbo screen at #Melnitz. I did not attend, partly because I was studying for finals, and, more so, because Im really shy, especially about my art and creative output. We werent allowed to decline being in the projects, so I was in a total of 8 of my classmates projects. Not one of those people thanked me personally for being in their project. I felt used as I had tried my hardest to fulfill their creative vision. Throughout my entire life, Ive NEVER turned down a role whether it was a class project or anything outside the class as well. I wont be doing that anymore. In order for my to appear to a film or other creative work, its going to cost you #TopDolla, yadada? Thats because people easily get ungrateful and they think that they were the reason for your creativity. Id like to see the people from film school today match that little window of creativity that we had back in 2008...you would be able to do it. Sorry.
