This means that everyone can listen to unlimited music for free through the service now. Until recently, the free Spotify users could only listen to 10 hours of music per month. During those 10 hours, they did get to hear ads. The Spotify mobile apps for smartphones and tables could not be used by the users for free. This last restriction was lifted a few weeks ago, but now also removes the time limit. Free users are of course still regularly hear ads. Spotify subscribers will still be able to listen to music online and get heard. No ads :-)
