not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. Hebrews 10:25 As a pastor I have to be careful when I call on someone I have not talked to or seen at church in a while, they think I am calling to fuss at them or trying to get in their business for not being at church, well I almost never do that (just kidding) I don’t mean to do that, but it is important that if someone is out that we check on them. However people don’t want to be attacked for missing church. There are 3 types the type that does not want you to check on them because they think you are being nosey, and the ones that wants you to check all the time or they think you don’t care. And then there are some that if you check it is okay and if you don’t it is okay. What I try to do is do the same for all and you will stay out of trouble. How in the world do people get by without God or a church for that matter. The church family is such an important part of our life they are always there when you need them. The church family should have your best interest they should be trusted in all things. Okay I know it is not always like that is it? But even with her faults how would get along with out our church family our prayer warriors. I hear a lot of reasons (or excuses) why people don’t go to church, and most of the ones I hear are more excuses than anything. If you don’t want to go to church you are right that is your business, but say so don’t blame it on your mother because she made you go to church when you were little, be thankful that she did so. Parents don’t send your children to church take them. Whether you like it or not God will hold you responsible for not taking them to church. We have to tell our children who and what our God is all about. I don’t say this to be mean spirited I say it because it is so important. If your children are grown and not in church don’t give up on them. I also have to say this there are children whose parents did all the right things, they took their children to church and taught them right from wrong it is still up to them to serve the Lord. So you cannot beat yourself up about it, you can still do something you be that example you show them what a Christian man and woman should live. Let me say if you do not have a church family please consider Broken Wing Fellowship. We are not fancy we are just a group of people that loves the Lord. Other churches offer different things and a lot more programs but I guarantee you there are none that needs you worst than we do. God bless....
