When our elected officials are spied on, they can be blackmailed. When elected officials can be blackmailed, they can be controlled by the entity doing the blackmailing. As a result, those elected officials will no longer represent the voters that put them in office. Now they work for the organization that is blackmailing them. It is of the utmost importance to remove the CIA and NSAs ability to violate our 4th Amendment rights. The sovereignty of our elected officials and our democracy is at stake.
