note to self-next time I buy a watermelon that is so big and heavy I have to use the ramp on the bus to get it home in my wheeled suitcase, I should not take off my knee brace before carrying the watermelon into the kitchen. I hope I did not make my torn meniscus worse. I think I am ok. a nice man who lived in the ukraine and uzbekistan helped me pick it out. it seems a bit on the ripe side. but delicious.
