now irish water are going to be looking for your pps number plus your kids plus they tell u u must sign a direct debit,,,,,this is a private company .,, they wont give you a contract but will insist in you giving this info and if you do be warned,, that is the contract,,,,scare tactics,,they say they want the info on your kids for the free allowance there will be no free allowance as now they want what they offered cut back. Please please please people it is illegal for a private company to charge you for anything with out you consent esp water that were already paying for. they will send a bill for payment but will not send an invoice which they must do under contract law. the only way they hope to get payment from you is to scare you by bringing you to court,,but all you have to say is that you will pay if they can show you a contract. However,,if you make one payment or consent that you have recievd correspondence from them or speak to them on the phone then that can be construed as a contract.Just send everything back to them with no consent no contract on it.i bspoke to aperson about this and what they said amazed me,,me;;what do you think of the water meters,,them;; sure we have no choice.,,me;;why...them,,well the goverment said we have to get them in,,me;; but the gov are not putting them in;;;no,but their company is.,,me;; irish water is a private company and unlike the ESB OR UPC etc irish water dont have a contract with you that makes it illegal for them to charge you.eupopean law is broken by the gov as is competition law,,ie.no country is allowed to have a private company as the only supplier of a utility there must be competition.ALSO the proven health issues ie the flouride,,,the lead piping..the radiation emiting from the smart meters,which are being taking out around America for the cancer causing radiation.the WHO has asked for the installation of smart meters to be put on hold till these problems can be ironed out..them;; [pause] ah well i just want to live my life and no hassle..me; In other words to hell with the health of your children your grandchildren,,them;;No way i can believe Enda Kenny would allow that to happen that would be stupid. So you see closed minds no matter what i said or what i coould show them against water meters,it couldnt be true because A POLITICION wouldnt let it happen. And so while these particular people dont vote FG LAB or FF, they are either confused or selfish or cowards because in my eyes the least they could do is educate themselves about these matters and then make an informed decision. At least for their kids sake. GOD HELP US ALL.
