now that the sky is clear let us look at how we have reacted and what can be done. i propose: 1) ensure supply of mask; store, companies, old folks home, etc. 2) distribution of mask thru effective channels 3) curb profitting for essential safety items 4) Govt can gather resource to provide predictive report on possible Haze ( i believe possible, look at heat map and monitor wind?) 5) seriously get companies to look at WSH and have risk assessment drawn for situations like these 6) have in place crisis communication and dont treat us singaporeans as idiots, play down info when it comes to “whats real” 7) i quote PM, “life must go on” ~ i agree but we need to better mitigate risk and in doing so LOOK at what matters to people most. As WSH says there is NO CONFLICT between workspace saftey and health and PROFITABILITY. 8) look into any red tapes as to why some decisions and action came late..
