Through a strategic approach to market and business development, the Commercial Manager will shape the development of the sale strategy by analyzing the market and advising the Management Team of development opportunities. The Commercial Manager will be committed to customer service excellence and will take the lead role in developing and managing partnerships and business relationships with Clients and Prospects. Duties and responsibilities • Active input to driving the development of corporate strategy. To implement business development strategies and plans. This will involve working closely with Offer Leaders and their teams to ensure offers strategies are met. • To create and develop commercial opportunities to increase offers revenue. This is with both existing and potentially new clients with whom you will target, initiate and develop business relationships. • Sales of services and products – responsibility for the complete sales cycle starting from the first contact to closing the deal. • Identify new market opportunities, talking the lead on constructing successful business proposals that secure new contracts and long term client relationships. Take responsibility for all tender processes, bid integrity of proposals and new business presentations. • Ensure the Management Team is systematically apprised of market opportunities, conditions and associated business developments. • Implement the marketing and sale strategy that incorporates important priorities, enabling the company to maintain and grow its income base. • Coordinate sales forecasting, planning, and budgeting processes. Taking care of a CRM database updates. • Develop strong working relationships and understanding the services provided by each offer. • Travel frequently to meet with potential clients, customers, partners. • Develop presentations for clients, prospects and partners, conduct market analysis. • Represent the business at conferences, trade fairs and networking events. • Coach and develop others - Identify the developmental needs of others and coaching, mentoring, or otherwise helping others to improve their knowledge or skills. • To undertake specific tasks as asked by the Market Manager. • The Market Manager will agree personal objectives with the Commercial Manager. This will form part of the annual review of his/her performance in the role. • To ensure areas of responsibility are delivered in a way that are consistent with the company values and highest ethical standards. This job Description is an outline of the key tasks and responsibilities of the post and the post holder may be required to undertake additional duties appropriate to the pay level. Compensation The total compensation of Commercial Manager is directly correlated to how successful he/she is in completing responsibilities and individual goals. Total salary consists of base salary along with a percentage of what is sold.
