ok, Im just gonna post here what I put on my like page.. Last time for this topic. Apparently according to Pat Brodericks comments in reply to some of the articles... 80+% are in his corner...!?? must be a lonely corner he dwells in.... Conventions in general, according to Pat Broderick and his friends..., should be for artists only!?.. basically segregating people in costume simply because he deems them bad for his profits... Strange considering I thought it was a social gathering, and the basic premise of the people putting on a con was to please the public paying to get in. Honestly Im happy to say a lot of artists do not think the way Pat Broderick does. Many times at conventions Ive been ASKED to stand by artists and vendors booths BECAUSE I draw a crowd... and I was happy to do so, mind you I make no money from any of it, in fact I pay to get in and usually my wife buys about 300$ in merchandise while Im there... But hey, far be it for me to not agree with someone who still thinks its 1994... Imagine a computer programmer complaining that noone wants his programs after being out of the field for 20 years. ................. Its a joke right? I loved Doom 2099... Was part of what made me love Dr. Doom when I was young. To Pat!...
