ok, Shauna Hackney... these are the first ones that came to mind! I once sat under a blanket for about 5 minutes in front of 15,000 people with Shania Twain I started doing high falls at 18. I sang on the tracks for the Enchanted Tiki Room in Tokyo I was the first American artist to tour across Mainland China playing 5,000 - 10,000 seat arenas with my own show. David Copperfield used to borrow my duck I have written, arranged, and produced music for television shows and many live events. I only have white socks and black socks and all the ones of each color are all exactly the same... no matching. I had a crush on a picture of a Playmate in college, and eventually ended up dating her. Channing Tatum played me in a movie. I knew Michael Jackson and performed at Neverland for his family one Christmas Eve. I like to eat Barbecue sauce sandwiches. I trained and performed as a classical percussionist. I started learning to walk tightrope at 20 I started audio editing at the age of 12 and ended up editing and producing music for many fellow magicians in the 80s. I was a DJ in the 70s. I was a puppeteer for many years with Sid and Marty Kroft (starting in 73) and am still friends with Sid to this day. I started ballet at the age of 12 and eventually danced for several seasons with the Dallas Metropolitan Ballet. I directed, choreographed and rigged the opening to the Rose Parade years ago with Leanne Rimes I also helped design the worlds first Illusion float for the Rose Parade with Renee Haas-Johnson by making a school bus filled with kids disappear and reappear on the parade route. I started learning high falls at 18. I never liked swimming but I loved diving. I hated having my head underwater but I became SCUBA certified about 10 years ago. I played Lake Tahoe for the first time in 1981. I designed magic and created props for such diverse people as Orson Welles, Steve Martin and Bette Midler. My parents built me a treehouse in my grandmothers backyard that had zip line to get down to the ground. I had a woolly monkey as a pet when I was seven years old. I have never been skydiving even though it seems like such a natural for me. I was an executive for Caesars Palace for a year as their resident Magic Director. lol,... I wore a suit and everything! I performed in Olivia Newton-Johns backyard for the cast part for the film Grease and remember being so surprised that John Travolta didnt speak with a NY accent. I was really upset at the age of 13 that I was being forced to join Actors Equity as I felt they would never cast me again if they actually had to pay me. Ive worked on the production team for so many shows and events around the globe for a certain park in So Cal but as an outside contractor cant ever openly talk about them. As a hint for those in the know, here are a few. FoF, LM, MoBB, DEP, GMS, MMS, PoD, MTP, MLT, DCL, DCXL, etc. Due to the fact that I was never an actual employee above... I was always sad that I never actually got an official nametag. I performed in 10 - 1/2 hour shows a day and an additional 5 - 15 minute shows each day at the World of Sid & Marty Krofft in Atlanta and we did 26 days in a row as we hadnt trained swings yet. I shot two commercials for Sony in Japan that according to some locals played all the time causing me to be known there as the Sony Magic Man For my first Canadian Tour with my own show, I built all of the illusions and props myself and sewed the 30 x 60 drops and curtains in my driveway.
