ok....brazil ovr....n as usual....discussions wl die down aftr a week or soonr....or as soon as a newspapr brks a new story..............plannin n implementation went bad...........bt how many of us genuinely believd we cld win th cup? ....how many of us ddnt knw we wer spendn too much for a venture tht had little impact on our dev agenda? how was brazil goin to help us solv our housin deficit? schools undr trees? bad roads? poor health facilities? fallin cedi? ovr-reliance on importd goods etc etc?........wel....now tht we hav seen how best we as poor n challengd as we are....spent a whoppin $13m on a wild goose chase........dont u think its th best time to dialogue....as to how we intebd to treat th black stars?......for instance....can we make it a policy tht we not goin to spend mor thn say $2m in 2016 if we qualify for it....n rely mostly on fifas money? bcos it is th dream of evry playr to b at th world stage n am sure th stars wl play....bonus or not! ....or can we also shelv our world cup dreams for a while concentrate on mor important thngs? ....or can we encourage private entrepreneurs to gt mor involvd in th world cup? can we put partisanshp aside n dialogue in th best interest of gh?
