ok for you lefties out there who dont know these tricks and are younger or havent experienced these things yet, even some of you older ones, these are how you combat these problems. (second try at this grrr!!!! lost all my responses thanks to a windows update...I think I dont know just restarted. and then I got the windows update wait screen....sigh really want to go to bed but want to try to finish this. ok here we go! ) 1. if you ever in your life see a left handed desk anymore I would be so shocked and I want a pic of it. I have never seen one and I am 31. turn your body slightly to the right and put the paper at a 75-60 degree angle with the top of the paper going to your right hand and the bottom towards your left. and put the top of the paper on the far right corner of the desk where you can still write. I have had to do this for years..problem solved. 2. ok I wont lie theres 2 solutions to this. one is kind of a pain to learn because you have to train your right hand to work properly and become ambidextrous. if you can get even semi-decent at it this wont pose a problem. however if you dont want to waste the time theres an easier solution. When a person who is right handed uses scissors for right handed people they put pressure of both the thumb and middle finger towards the scissors towards actual scissors. Using right handed ones as a left just pull away from them with both fingers. Or you could go search for left handed ones but good luck! 3. If you buy a mug and it bothers you that you cant see what you bought, because you were left handed....I have no advice for you. Its a mug you probably bought it so others could read it and chuckle...why does it matter? 4. if you havent figured this out from #1. ill give ya a little more advice just move whatever you are signing to the right of the pen....is it really this hard? 5. really people who made this list? its a freaking ice cream scoop....ok if you to lazy or inept to make your right hand semi function...dont buy an ice cream scoop. take a spoon out ( metal if I have to say it ) and rung it under some hot water for likr 10-15 seconds. It WILL work. 6. ugh....I seem to just keep repeating myself....make sure you can do small easy things with your right hand. all you do with it at this point is TURN A NOB. if you cant do that go get a automated can opener.....and if your complain is you cant take these cans to work because of it. good idea would be to buy different food for work. ( yes I have heard that excuse before...and I am left handed so...had to just walk away ) 7. total lies. anyone who knows me or has seen me play a game knows that this is a total lie. I have been playing games since I was 4 or 5 I think. its possible dont belive the hype. 8. I dont even understand how this is an issue...maybe cuz I can read the numbers or smart enough to look a tape backwards I dont really know. Because any measuring tape I have see in the past 5+ years has had lines on both sides so I am REALLY not sure how old that picture is or how THIS is a problem. If it is, and this is your job to use these...please god find a new job. I dont want learn you helped build my car or a bridge I drive over. 9. ok....this is fairly easy if you go with what I said in #! you wont have a problem unless your weird and it hurts you unlike me...however there are other options. But a bland one and turn it upside down. Or if you mind cant function that way....find a place that sells left handed ones. Yes they are out there however turning them upside down does the same thing....I dont know a single person who uses that top 2-3 blank space anyways. 10. EVERY left handed person will be asked this in their life no matter WHAT you do. However depending on the person, situation, or relationship, you can either stop it or make them feel dumb for asking ( sore one for you if u can pull off the last one! ). Examples would be someone hasnt asked you yet and asks you to throw them something and its on your right side. Dont reach over and grab it with your left hand your mongrel! Grab it with your right and throw it so bad it smacks them in the face is so far off target it wouldnt hit space. And when they are looking at you confused all you have to say is what I am left handed man, what did you expect? Another way you can turn it is if you have known the person for awhile ( please god dont try this in a setting with your boss you might get fired...better in a friend type of setting ) when they bring up the question all you have to say is man I thought we were close....you just now realized I was left handed....what happened to our friendship? Dumb question now squashed and he feels bad not you. You left handed not a freak. 11. not really done these honestly....but I figure if you turn the page like I said and read the questions since they arent near the answers and dont leave you hand on the freaking page I dont see why this is an issue. and honestly....wouldnt be an issue for right handed people to......this one just confuses me......moving on 12. .....really? I dont care if my pen/pencils decal is freaking upside down....does it write? check! good to go....if this bothers you....you might have other issues...im not a psych but go see one please. 13. there is only 2 options at this point. write backwards basically kinda like with the spiral binder. The last option is get use to a buying one every couple months because you bend it over so the rings dont get in the way. That option if you limited in funds is well...HORRID. you wrists will hurt and you will go through more binders in a year than you will throughout your entire college career than a right handed person does. 14. I....dont honestly....know what that means.....why would my hand have anything to do with touching a cap at the end of a pen....my hand is no where near as long as it so....um ya..... 15. never fired an automatic weapon like that but I am positive there are left handed people on the military....so that guy has to be doing SOMETHING wrong. I seriously doubt they are force-fed a hot shell after every shot. 16. whoever wrote this must not be left handed or ever played cards...one that is a right hand not a left hand. and if he fans the cards the other way he can see ever card suit and number with no problem....this person is stupid. 17. again just because your left handed people assume your right hand will never function this is possible even if it cant. go to the right side of the scanner. face the card the right way and use your left hand to slam it though its not hard....gg this is getting really stupid....did this person have a limit on how many points he had to make to get paid? 18. okaaaay...yes he must be. personally never had a problem with this. denim is not steel and easy to move outta the way so now I am thoroughly confused at this point. 19. I dont ever remember playing baseball in gym....maybe thats a new thing I dont really know. Talk to the gym teacher I guess..... 20. I ran into this once or twice thats also how I figured out to use righty desks, so use that or just I dont know ask to switch spots? Desks I have been are RARELY that close 21. I dont think thats happened to anyone ever....if so....I dont know what to say about it....because who cares? Cartoon example below is even worse.....please see a shrink. 22. I would love to see that study..... 23. Ugh....go back to number one and read it again....if your getting that on your hand your not doing it right.....trust me its possible. If you cant figure it out find a leftie that can write on a paper they can show you how to do it. Otherwise please just work on using your right hand ( I already told you how to do it in number one ) because you werent meant to be a lefty, or in your right mind :)
