ok guys, I just got my Windows Phone 8.1 on Lumia 1020 (thank you Daniel Cheong) and the one thing that literally blew me away is the new Word Flow. I didnt expect it at all. What is it? In principle, its similar to SWYPE on Android. You basically draw your finger over the keyboard and the algorithm recognizes your strokes, turning them into words. Ive used SWYPE and it sucked. Its no more than a silly, useless gimmick. On a Lumia however, World Flow works like magic. Theres no other way of putting it. It doesnt matter if your are inaccurate, too slow or too fast. Word Flow just figures out what you wanted to say and it rarely, if ever makes a mistake! You dont have to hit a space bar between words either, Word Flow will do that for you automatically and even suggest an emoticon that goes with that verb you just typed. Im now typing faster and more accurately with a single finger than I did before with two of them. No one else has this tech; its Microsofts own and its not licensed to anyone.
