ok here is the Hank update.. Yesterdays procedure ( Pace maker/defib) was to place three wires into heart that would do three different jobs. After several hours they were unable to get the third lead in which they said was very common but it was also the one needed to improve his ejection fraction which is why he is so tired. They said we would have to wait a month for him to recover from this surgery and then do a more invasive surgery (Thorcotomy). This morning they X-rayed to make sure everything was still in place and it seems over night one of the leads they positioned yesterday has dislodged!Dr. Justice says it is very important to get it fixed ASAP. so now we are NOT going home today but staying the weekend and Dr. Hall (cardio thoracic surgeon) will be doing the Thorcotomy On Monday between 12 and 1pm. and when he is finished they will move him to a different OR and Dr Justice will do a revision of the arterial lead. This has not been the news we had hoped for but it is our LOT and we know God supplies what we need for that journey. Please pray us thru! We love and thank you all!
