okay, collected myself, sorry for the early morning rampage... I am off tmw and looking very forward to it! So does anyone know of any ERs that need a very skilled Multifunctional Tech (CNA) with oodles of experience?!?!??? It is very hard to get into a decent hospital and even harder to get into an ER! IVE BEEN APPLYING MY ASS OFF, ITS WHAT I DO! I miss walking into a hectic heavy work load for only 3 days a week and having 4 days off, I want to be hands on again! My hands can do so many things and I am at a desk in a boring freakin cubical typing instead of doing CPR, or drawing blood, or assisting w sterile procedures, or sitting in psych... I even assisted in teaching hospital orientation every month for all new employees!!! It is sad to me that in my early 20s I put myself through college as well as worked my way up the ladder at FSHC, started at the bottom as a patient transporter and worked my way into the ER and thru a CNA program offered, and now I have all these certifications, and I renew my CNA every 2 years, but it is just collecting dust. OPERATION kick lifes ass is in high gear! Time to pull out my letters of recommendation I never thought Id need and jazzing up the ole resume... Some one know of a good position I would rather NOT work a unit unless its ICU or possibly Geriatrics, but getting back into the ER where I belong is my goal! Help a sister out ;)
