okay, so this is a long post, but please read it all, then listen to the song. Its worth your time, I promise :) So, Ive been struggling a lot lately, with a lot of the small things in my life, but also with all the people who have either passed away or have taken a short absence in my life. So I was listening to a Spotify playlist I got from Laura, and this song called Times by Tenth Avenue North came on. I love Tenth Avenue North, but havent listened to some of their older stuff yet. I heard this song and I couldnt help but cry. The lyrics were all things I was thinking and struggling with. In the second half of the song, it changes from you as a human talking, to God talking to you. The things He says just tore at me, and I felt all sorts of boundaries and tension melting away.
