on New Years eve 1983, a circle of young men from Merced CA, having become a social cluster via VHS and nighttime primetime soap operas, became a caravan to a 1970s Groveland CA A-frame rental to celebrate and the event was archived and years later translated into digital photography by social guru Fred Hoffknecht. On New Years eve 2014 I am inviting all surviving past and more new pals of Merced to a Celebration of LAUGHTER & REMEBRANCE of Fred Hoffknecht. The archive is a presentation but I need volunteers to contribute to the SPIRIT with food, spirits and a collection of donations to memorialize our family and friend Fred on the sidewalk outside Merced s landmark tower theater.
