on this date in 1973 , the viet nam war ended, it wasnt until may,1975 that the last man stepped on a helicopter on the top of american embassy in saigon and left for a carrier that it was physically over. that man was a navy corpman medic named tod ghormley. today he is a surgeon of orthopedics in conway. i knew him in viet nam and was so surprised he operated on my left arm twice in 1993. great guy and navy corpman medic. today is viet nam veterans day, welcome home brothers of all services
