one nation comes home 2. return of the Jews since 1882 above all from the north: In Psalm 107,1-3 God is praised, because he collected the Jews from the whole world. Jeremiah predicted even in 600 before Christ, that the people in the last days of the world will recognize God as the person, who will lead back the Jews from all over the world to the land of their forebears. Since the year 1882 this happens constantly (Jeremiah 16,14-15). Other prophets also predicted, that the Jews will return to the land of their fathers, for instance Isaiah in 49,12 or 43,5-7. The Lebanon, Syria and the Turkey are northern of Israel. After the year 1948 4000 immigrants came from the Lebanon, 9500 from Syria and until now 62.000 Jews from Turkey to Israel. But Jeremiah said, that the return will take place from the land of the north from the most outside end of the earth, and in big number (Jeremiah 31,8). The land in the most outside north is Russia. From this land came the most immigrants to Israel 1) 1882- 1903: about 25.000; 2) 1904- 1914: about 40.000 from Russia and Poland; 3) 1919- 1923: about 35.000 above all from Russia (53%); 4) 1924- 1931: about 80.000 from Poland and Soviet Union, Lithuania and Romania; 5) 1971- 1979: more than 100.000 from the Soviet Union; 6) since 1989: about 1 Million from Russia. More than one third of all Jews, who immigrated in the last 130 years to Israel, come from Russia or Soviet Union. These are 1,3 Million Jews. The first Jews left 1882 Russia, because they were persecuted by tsar Alexander III. Also after the revolution in 1917 in Russia and the Ukraine the situation did not change. The prophet Zechariah in 2,10 in about 520 before Christ also predicted the immigration.
