orgasms use up a special chemical in your brain. Dopamine, I - TopicsExpress

orgasms use up a special chemical in your brain. Dopamine, I believe. The more you orgasm, the less of this chemical you have available, and the less powerful your orgasms are. So what happens is that you get locked into a cycle where your orgasms grow less and less powerful, but your need for release grows stronger and stronger, because you havent had that one mind-blowing orgasm for a long time. You dont have to hold off for as long as possible *every* time (I dont, anymore) but when you start to feel that its just not worth it anymore, thats your clue to abstain for a little while, in your own best interest., Im a woman and Im the same way. Every day, I feel such a strong need to bring myself to orgasm several times. Sometimes I orgasm so hard I can barely think straight. Yes, about 3 -4 times is average. It doesnt really negatively affect me, though there are times I need to be getting other stuff done but I cant help but take a detour! Its almost impossible to stop myself. The ache gets so bad and it feels so good to release it. Over and over, yep.
