orianthi will be joining Richie Sambora for all the upcoming dates announced for Europe/UK this coming June/July. A lot of you have wondered how the two met and when/where the collaboration began... Richie was vacationing on Maui. His friends, Alice Cooper and Alices manager, Shep Gordon, put together a yearly New Years Eve benefit concert in Maui to benefit local food banks. They heard Richie was on the island and invited him to join this past New Years Eves festivities. Richie ended up jamming with Steven Tyler, Sammy Hagar, Alice Cooper and the incredible guitarist who plays with Alice, Orianthi. Everything theyve worked on since has been a direct outcome of one invite and one benefit gig to usher in 2014.
