our foster parents work so hard with the mill dogs and bringing them out of their shells, they are true heroes as they work hard with them- getting them use to walking on grass, carpet,wearing a collar, eating out of a bowl, drinking water from a bowl, being touched, bathed, nails trimmed and ears cleaned, walking on a leash, and so much more- they give their hearts and souls to waken up the buried spirits in these mill dogs and then that day comes, after all their hard work.....they let them go to their new forever homes with a piece of them moving on with them. I am so thankful for all of our wonderful volunteers and the work they do day in and day out with these wonderful dogs.
