our generation complains so much about congresss inability to pass any legislation and yet we fail to participate in the one way we can: voting. its not that we arent informed or that we dont care. everyone has an issue that theyre passionate about whether its marriage/racial equality, womans rights, global warming awareness or prison reform. even if its just to legalize marijuana! i know we hate to admit it, but the fate of these issues depends on us. for the upcoming midterm election, the turnout for voters under 30 is predicted at less than 23%. its easy to say your vote doesnt matter on a national scale when considering the amount of people that live in this country. but the 77% of us that think this way have a HUGE impact on whether or not these issues are taken on by politicians. so on november 4th, will you #TURNOUTFORWHAT ??
