over the captivity or imprisonment of the original trilogy features and George Lucas, Ive always assumed he just hated the fact that he had very little control over his story, his vision. If youve ever heard the documentaries, and film-process of those 3 movies (A New Hope, The Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi), he was fighting with the directors, producers, and editors over the final product. so i assume the reason hes not willing to release the originals has a little layer of vengeance against the people that brought him anguish through that process.
