part 1 A Relationship From The Past I went to the store the other day and this is what happened: I drove to the store, got out of my car, locked the car doors, and went inside. I proceeded to get a shopping cart. Went down the aisle, picking up items I needed and items I didn’t really need. I finish shopping, went to the checkout counter, the cashier with a big smile, spoke to me and rung me up. I paid for my items. They were bagged. I went to my car. Put the groceries in the car. Got in my car and you drove off. End of Story! Really, really, not so fast, who are we kidding, that was just the fairytale version. This is what really happened: It was a long day at work. Before going home, as usual, I had to make a quick stop at the grocery store. I went inside the supermarket and headed for the produce section. As I was looking at all the fresh produce, I saw an old boyfriend…our eyes locked and we ended up talking for about an hour. The conversation was great, but I knew I had to go home and start dinner. I headed to the checkout and begin to daydream about our past relationship when my eyes saw a 100.00 bill on the floor. I said to myself, this must be my lucky day. I picked it up and continued walking. Feeling like someone was watching me, I looked back and there he was again. He yelled out." Wait up!" I did. He asked me, to help him pick out a bouquet of flowers for his wife;. I told him that I would be glad to. So we headed to the flower shop. He told me her favorite colors were, pink, lavender and yellow. I told the Florist what colors was needed and she made up a beautiful arrangement. Short story(fiction) Enjoy...
