person: hey hope u dont mind me borrowing some of ur words/ideas....i write poetry and i wana turn what uve written into a poem my brain: soooo what i just wrote??? a song??? my response: i would not appreciate that at all seeeing that my spoken word, poetry and quotes are very close to me... if you write you should - as a writer - be able to form your own words, ideologies and chosen phrases, etc... i write and share with everyone as i love to uplift people and i share it here as many persons on my list face struggles that i usually address in some of the quotes n stories i write.... i do it so i can maybe put things in perspectives that may help them in any given way... not for people to use my words - or any part thereof in their pieces to be edited so they can call it their own.... so im sry, i cant stop you, nor would i kno if you do, but as a writer i would think you would understand what a self written piece would mean to the person writing it... and you would also understand that it doesnt feel good to have ppl use/steal/or borrow your ish, edit it n say they did it... so i guess use your own judgement... n tha is all i have to say on that matter ofc dude got deleted though... better he or anyone else with the same desires do it without telling me, cuz if you wanna and you tell me imma just overlook you from then,,,,, writer my ass... which writer does wanna borrow someones words to turn it into a poem :s gimme a ease up yes lol... sleeptime with that one... but i do hope my usually appreciative friends enjoyed my last stat
