pet peeve.. walking into a place of business and there are cigarette butts all over the front of the establishment.. it is against Maine law to have people smoking within 24 feet of the entrance to a public establishment. To have piles and piles of butts is gross and shows me the business owners do not care about what they are presenting to the public.. I am not a smoker and I am not dissing those that do.. but why should I have to walk through your cloud of smoke and your trash? I dont throw my DD cups on the ground.. so why should it be ok for you to throw your butts on the ground??
