Continue cooking without stirring for few minutes or until bubbles just started to appear around the outside edges of the pan (start caramelize) 3. Remove from the heat and pour on your grease pan. 4. Arrange ur pineapple slice on top of the sugar mixture and cherries. #cake 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour 2 teaspoon baking powder 1/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 cup soft butter 1 cup sugar 1 teaspoon vanilla 2 larger egg (separate yolk and white) 1/2 cup milk (or use butter milk) 1/2 teaspoon cream of tartar Procedure: 1. In a bowl sift the flour, baking powder and salt. Set aside. 2. In another bowl using hand mixer or manually, beat the butter and sugar until light and fluffy. 3. Add on vanilla, egg yolk one at a time. 4. Add the flour mixture slowly with the milk until well incorporated. 5. In a clean bowl whisk together the egg white and cream of tartar just until soft peak. 6. Fold it on the batter (flour mixture) 7. Pour the batter on your pan and smooth on top. 8. Bake on preheated oven over 350f. 9. After baking, cool it down for 15 to 20 min. And loosen it using knife around the edge of pan, invert it.. Serve it and enjoy
