While the emphasis will be on a system of public banking, COMER will be stressing the need to restore the public bank we already have – the Bank of Canada – to its original purpose ! Constitutional lawyer Rocco Galati will be there to field questions about the on-going Bank of Canada lawsuit. Monday, January 26, 2015: It’s probably just a coincidence, but since Rocco Galati’s public complaint about the Harper government’s failure to fill Federal Court vacancies with the appointment of new judges, the next hearing on the Bank of Canada matter – which Mr. Galati has been trying to have scheduled early in the new year – is now to take place on Monday, January 26, 2015, beginning at 9:30 am. It will be held at the same Federal Court Building as the previous two hearings, at 180 Queen St. West, just west of University Avenue, in Toronto. This Appeal Hearing should be the most interesting thus far. Your support there would be most appreciated. Given previous high attendance, it would be wise to be there early.
