plz delete if this post isnt allowed on here.... Anyone out there got any jobs for 4 diesel mechanics / truck drivers? My workmates and I just lost our jobs after 15 years of service. Sux when youve been so loyal. I have fork, car, bike, crane and all heavy vehicle licenses including heavy vehicle testing license for roadworthys. In-depth knowledge of power train components, heavy diesel mechanic components, air and hydraulic brake systems specialist including antilock braking systems, truck/trailer weighing systems and safety systems. Extensive knowledge of preventative maintenance, Well versed in diagnostic and repairing tools and equipment Comprehensive knowledge of diesel engines, filtration systems, and pneumatic systems Extensive knowledge of troubleshooting and repairing heavy duty vehicles Skilled in preparing, reading, and interpreting technical information Possess strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem solving skills Excellent communicator with strong organizational and time management skills Extensive knowledge of all small to large trucks components, motorcycles, marine, most 2 and 4 stroke engines small or large, forklifts and cranes, power plants and some hydraulic excavator, backhoe, grader , plant and bobcat knowledge and experience. Welding capabilities: Mig, tig aluminium stainless and mild, manual metal arc, plasma and laser, oxy bronzing and silver soldering, oxy cutting. Setup use and maintenance of turret press, brake press, pullers, folders and guillotines and pan brakes. Just seeing whats out there.
