prior to 7/7 I would argue that a bombing on British soil by Muslims from Britain is an impossibility. I was snapped out of that delusion. I was writing a report on institutionalised racism within the police and the policy & practice by the constabularies to counter. Based on some great work post McPherson & the brutal killing of Stephen Lawrence. As I was leaving the library, a good friend (someone iv lost contact with) was glued to the screen. I was in shock as he showed me photos post bombing. I had been involved in interfaith for a long & I still believe that dialogue are integral to working towards peace. The question of why still haunts me. Since 06/07 iv been actively involved in trying to find an answer and exploring ways to counter & combat. The last few years have been a roller coaster A new chapter in life and one in which we hope we can actively seek peace, security & justice.
