The Universe is quantum and multidimensional, not linear. To simplify that for you I will just say: reality is a cake, not a light switch. This video uses light switch physics. A series of probabilities for a single set of on and off function. Life is not quite so simple. The Universe is a fractal and you have tons of multiple simultaneous things happening at once, and on all scales of reality. For example -- everything is made of everything else, up and down the scale from the micro to the macro. You see the same basic fundamental patterns repeating as you rise up from the atomic, to the cellular, to planets and stars, to galaxies, galaxy clusters, super clusters and so on. The exact same interactions are at play regardless of who or what is doing what, or on what level of the scale. Change one ingredient of a cake just slightly, or add or subtract an ingredient, and you have a VERY DIFFERENT CAKE. In fact, a very slight change will turn cake into bread, and vice versa.
