question for all you lovely READERS out there: I am looking for a book (single or series) that would interest an almost 12 year old (yes, cant believe LUKE will be 12 in a couple of weeks!!!). he has really enjoyed reading things like the Lord of the Rings trilogy, Lucas Star Wars books, and all the Harry Potter books, but he is looking for something that is a bit lighter and shorter. when he was many years younger, he liked things like The Magic Tree-house series, Captain Underpants, and the A to Z Mysteries. (okay, okay -- Luke still LOVES all the Captain Underpants books and their signature brand of potty humor) would appreciate hearing everyones personal picks (or your childrens faves)... :)
