*rant warning* grr. its going to be one of those weeks! put liquid soap on my hands, went to turn on tap,had to wipe off soap with towel, no water, checked every tap we had, no water, checked mains, turned on... called council, they said they had no idea of any water being turned off in my street. saw some sort of work going on down the rd so walked 200mts in 30degree heat to be told yes the water is turned off, you got a notice WE GOT NO NOTICE! grr... bloody good thing we have emergency supplies of water in the house or the dogs and i would die of dehydration... *goes back under the rock with my emergency supplies..
