re: Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. On Buffy it was episode 7, Angel. On Angel it was episode 9 Hero, on Firefly it was episode 8 Ariel, on Dollhouse it is episode 6, Man On The Street. On every Joss Whedon show there is an early episode that elevates the show from good to great. Whedon does it on purpose, the first few episodes are like pilot episodes to introduce new viewers, then when he thinks the audience is starting to get complacent, he punches them in the gut. Im still waiting for that episode of AoS. So far the show feels like all set up with no punch line. Im guessing early November.
