realized i never explained the Shoprite incident of 3 weeks ago. So, it was about a 72 degree day not a cloud in the sky. hear a dog barking and see a car with a Chihuahua in it. all windows are cracked. However - it may be only 70 but its in direct sunlight. a car can heat up A LOT quicker than you think. and its shoprite, not just running into wawa. While im sure the owner wasnt shopping for a huge order, i was still concerned. so, wrote down the license plate went to customer service. younger guy waited on me, he was about 30. told him the situation, asked if he could announce over the P.A. the plate number and to please get your dog. was told "they dont do that here." i was shocked and didnt know what else to say, walked away. Got home, decided to email Shoprite corporate what happened. Got a nice email back the next day, saying they have contacted Medford shoprite management, apologized, and said in the future they will do what they can to help our four legged friends. DONT BE AFRAID TO SPEAK UP PEOPLE!!!! be courteous, be concise, but be firm. Businesses WANT YOUR MONEY! you never know what the power of a single voice can change.
