recently i heard about 3 film makers trying to make remake of some movies they described as perfect movie. so here goes my movie nerd rant. if a movie is so perfect - there is no perfect - let it be. dont remake it. you have more chance of ruining it for many people (unless it is a franchise, of course). and most likely, you wont make that perfect movie better because 1, it is perfect, whatever the hell that means, 2, you dont have your own original creative ideas to begin with. you cant even come up with something new and creative. if you say, oh, it will be different, then just make your own movie, please. rant done.
