religion is a touchy subject loads of people have asked me if i have a religion and my opinions of religion, so here you go: believe whatever you want. my reasons for not being religious is that theres too many religions. you see people looking at religions like hinduism and saying omg they believe in a big elephant guy so stupid well how is that less convincing in what you believe? once upon a time, there was a group of people that believed so strongly in that, that it caused many others to believe, so something must have triggered it. its just my fairytale is more realistic than your fairy tale, and that is why i dont have a belief in any god my self. religion is there because of fear, and i dont care if you believe in it or not, do what you want, im not going to force anything down your throat, just as i wouldnt want you to do to me. in my opinion, jesus existed, but was no messiah, back then, people were VERY easy to convince. if it happened nowadays he would be straight into a mental institute but i feel like he definitely existed, seeing as AD and BC are all around him, the world works with him. pretty much every religion believes he existed, just different things about him and i think its like Derren Brown. derren brown is a genius. he doesnt convince people he is manipulating them, he makes THEM convince THEMSELVES. because hes derren brown, he says something to you, you think oh shit hes derren brown, hes just done this to me, and you act along with it. in your head, you are not lying, he has done it to you. but inside, youre doing it to yourself because youve convinced yourself hes done it. its like when you lie to someone, and they keep saying youre lying, then you end up getting angry at them because youve said your point so many times that you forget you ARE actually lying. thats what jesus did. he probably didnt even mean to. its like the life of brian, everyone just starts believing in him and he cant help it. nowadays, religion is less of an actual belief, and more simple geography. if youre born in England, or the USA, youre more likely to be christian, because you will grow up with it, whereas if you were born in India, you would probably be Hindu, and Israel, you might be Jewish its less of a personal faith, and more what you have been taught to believe And its 100% fine if anyone believe in anything, a lot of people have strong reasons to be religious but i dont. at least, not yet. maybe if something happens to me one day, ill believe in a God or two, but it hasnt happened yet this is all my opinions so dont get too annoyed with me if you disagree, but open to debate
